  • 1/4 cup buttermilk

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce (optional, for extra depth of flavor)

  • Dash of hot sauce (optional, for a kick)

Instructions:

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth and well combined.

2. Stir in the minced garlic, chopped chives, parsley, dill, cilantro (if using), onion powder, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

3. If you're using Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce, add them in as well and mix thoroughly.

4. Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning if needed. You can add more herbs, salt, or pepper to suit your preference.

5. Transfer the ranch dip to a serving bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

6. Before serving, give the dip a good stir and garnish with a few extra fresh herbs for a beautiful presentation.
